Donor Rights Statement

As Buldan Education and Solidarity Foundation, we believe that donation is a voluntary act and that giving and sharing increases our quality of life. We stand behind and support donor rights, as we care about NGOs and their projects gaining the trust and respect of the public, and that donors and potential donors make safe and smart donations. We acknowledge that all donors have the following rights.

Donor Rights

1. To be informed about the mission and vision of the NGO, how the donation will be used, and its capacity and intention to use the donation efficiently for its purposes,

2. Obtaining information about the Board of Directors and managers and expecting for managers to fulfill their duties prudently

3. Access to up-to-date financial information

4. Requesting a guarantee that the donation will be used for its intended purpose,

5. A proper thank you,

6. To demand the confidentiality of their donations in accordance with the law,

7. Demanding that all the relations established by all employees representing the institution with him/her are at a professional level,

8. Knowing whether the donor is a volunteer, employee or just an outsider for this job,

9. Request deletion of contact information from lists if it will be shared with someone else,

10. While donating, they have the right to ask questions and receive immediate, correct and clear answers.
