Buldan Education and Solidarity Foundation believes that with the help of volunteers, it will be able to expand its activities and emphasize the value of teamwork. The Buldan Foundation will be grateful for the help of everyone who volunteers to join the team. Our volunteer principles are described below, and we appreciate everyone who wants to support us.

When I volunteer, what should I do?
We have outlined what you can do by volunteering, but all your ideas are really valuable.

Communication Volunteer

  • Monitoring our social media accounts and assisting with their sharing.
  • Following up with similar groups and, if necessary, making recommendations.

Sports Events Volunteer

  • Promotional initiatives to boost participation in sports events in which the Buldan Foundation is involved.
  • Exercise activities to prepare runners.
  • If available, presenting Buldan Foundation in activities organized by other runner groups during the event.
  • Representing Buldan Foundation in the Expo area.
  • Participation in running-related activities (giving information, motivating, and photographing the runners).

Resource Development Volunteer

  • To promote Buldan Foundation and to provide suitable support in line with Foundation's strategy and principles.
  • Working on the promotion of Buldan Foundation`s Projects to provide support.
  • Participate in the meetings with Foundation officials about upcoming campaigns.
  • Sharing and support on social media

Project Assistance Volunteer
To assist projects carried out by the Buldan Foundation based on needs (project-related research, translation, etc.)

Volunteering Stages
Our volunteer stages are detailed below.

  • Fill out the volunteer application form.
  • Volunteers are introduced to the Foundation (through face-to-face interview, visual, presentation, video, etc.).
  • Decide on the location and timing of the volunteer activity.
  • Training (papers, webinars, etc.) were created in accordance with our volunteer work topics.
  • Activities for voluntary motivation must be carried out at regular periods.

The Fundamentals of Volunteering
As Buldan Foundation volunteers, we understand the value of teamwork and strive to develop an effective and strong team. To achieve this purpose, we adopt the following operating principles:

  • We do not differentiate between the foundation's target audiences.
  • We believe that working together strengthens us.
  • We discuss all our ideas, comments, and concerns regarding the foundation and what we do with the Foundation.
  • If we are unable to engage in the work on the days we volunteer for any reason, we will notify the Volunteer Responsible as soon as possible.

Working Principles with our Volunteers
We, Buldan Foundation and its employees, know the importance of solidarity and aim to build an effective and strong team with our volunteers. In order to achieve this goal, we adopt the following working principles:

  • There is no distinction between volunteers.
  • We believe that working with our volunteers makes us stronger.
  • We care about the areas and skills our volunteers want to work with.
  • By listening to our volunteers, we try to increase their participation by considering their suggestions,
  • In sharing our volunteers’ excitement about volunteering at our Foundation, we are raising their motivation to work with us and striving to ensure that their work continues,
  • We care for our volunteers to participate in all processes related to the work they are doing and to be effective,
  • We urgently try to solve the problems our volunteers have with our Foundation.
  • We work with them to identify and strengthen the training needs of our volunteers,
  • We are grateful to our volunteers for sharing their time with us.
